This conceptual lip ring transforms the mouth—punk’s most expressive symbol—into a bold site of resistance. Crafted from 3D-printed resin and metal, the design features a suspended slogan tag framed by deconstructed spike motifs, evoking both aggression and vulnerability. Piercing-inspired connections and modular components allow for customisation and wearer interaction. Referencing punk’s history of facial piercings and visual protest, this piece reclaims the voice without speech—where ornament becomes declaration.
